A gunshot in the dark of night, a young baby girl cries... A black car squeals away... Several years later a passionate young lady struggles to discover her past . Thanks to a dedicated Tango teacher she will discover herself, what happened to her family, and find out why she is drawn to the passion of the tango.

A couple leaves a cabaret, filled with love and the sensual moves of the Tango. With nothing existing outside the moment, their passions overtake them as they over-step the bounds of “public decency” in their forbidden dance.

Three caring mentors and a handful of eager, young performing & visual artists attempt to create an important artist's institute at the cultural center of Los Angeles, the city with the largest immigrant Latino population in the world. When Federica arrives at the center she brings an innovative and modern spirit that will forever change the life of the community.
